Do not measure in terms of time: one year or ten years means nothing.

Patience, that long-suffering word, is
for our time, a holy place
where we can plant our yearnings
alongside hope and persistence,
like a garden planted in a neighborhood of despair.

  1. I appreciated your words today on patience. It is a reminder of hope & perspective on our country & world. A reminder to be proactive & yet live with love & joy. Appreciating people, God’s being like raccoons & opossums, beautiful flowers & wonderful summer fruits & vegetables. Hope that comes with sharing relationship with friends who understand & care.
